Textures & Frames For Colour Inkspiration Challenge #C105

I stepped out of my comfort zone this week creating my own background with this unique Sale-a-brations Stamp Set. I wont lie the thought of these three colours together and bunch of rectangles was not appealing but once I got stamping it started to come together. 

This is what I love about Stampin' Up products, everything matches and goes together! By using the pressed metal embossing folder I was able to give the background a bit more lift. Framing it in black and using black accents such a ribbon and black twigs let the colours do their job and pop off the page.

I am in love with the Intricate Leaves Dies from the mini catalogue. I am definitely an autumn lover but I feel it doesn't matter what time of year these colours just called for these leaves to be used.  Don't be afraid to layer different stamp sets, dies and embossing folders to create something unique and different.
